It has been common knowledge for quite some time that the University of Goucestershire’s Pittville campus is up for sale and that the university are in bad financial shape. However this was further demonstrated this week with a peculiar sign. The campus had a rather sarky for sale sogn put up directing quires to the ‘incompetent Management” at the university.
Originally local press put the “Stop The Cuts at UOG!” movement in the frame. It has since emerged that this movement hasn’t done this however a spokesperson did state: “It wasn’t us who put up this incredibly funny sign however we wish it was us! We could have branded it and invited the press along to photo us with it”. They continued to state that they would “love to hear from whoever did put it up or anyone else interested” as they share a “common goal”.
The university when asked by local press, failed to comment. Unsurprisingly the sign was shortly removed after they found out about it.
The identity of who paid for and put up the sign is still unknown to both local press and Stop the Cuts. Both of these wish to hear from you – please complete the mystery!
